BridgeAI Ireland is an applied AI training institute built for Irish graduates and early-career professionals. Our mission is to bridge the gap between Ireland's computing and analytics graduates and the country's highest-paying software, data and AI roles. We deliver short, stackable, employer-led tracks — from ML foundations through GenAI & LLM engineering, RAG systems and Agentic AI to AI governance — in partnership with industry SMEs and Irish tech employers.
Our first cohort launches in September 2026. We are hiring a small, mission-aligned trainer team to deliver that cohort and the cohorts that follow.
This role is a paid, part-time teaching support role designed specifically for recent Irish graduates in computer science, data, mathematics, engineering, or a closely related field. You will work alongside our Lead Trainer (Ireland) and contract trainer pool to deliver outstanding cohort experiences.
You will not be expected to lead a class on day one. Your job is to support learners — running lab sessions, answering questions, marking exercises, and being the friendly, capable person learners can turn to when they're stuck. As you grow, your scope and pay grow with you. Strong trainees graduate into Contract Trainer Pool or Lead Trainer roles within 12–24 months.
This is a real first step into the Irish AI training industry. It is also a chance to teach back into the same community we exist to serve.
Student intern route. We also welcome final-year and penultimate-year students for paid internships in this function — 3 to 6 months, always paid at or above the national minimum wage, with hours agreed around your studies. Interns do the same work with closer supervision, and strong interns step up to the Graduate Teaching Assistant rate on graduation. Apply the same way, and mark your note “Intern”.
Nice to have (but not required): a final-year project or thesis in AI / ML / data science; a GitHub portfolio with at least one project you're proud of; Kaggle, Hugging Face, or other public technical-community presence; experience teaching, tutoring, mentoring, or running technical society events; familiarity with the realities of breaking into the Irish tech market — the route you're currently navigating.
Send the following to careers@bridgeaiireland.ie: a short CV (one or two pages, PDF preferred); a short note (300 words or less) covering why this role, why BridgeAI, and one example of a time you explained a technical idea to someone who didn’t already understand it; and, optionally, a link to your GitHub, Kaggle, blog, or any work you want us to see.
Use the subject line: Graduate Teaching Assistant — [Your Name]. Applying for the student intern route? Mark your note “Intern”.
We review applications weekly and aim to respond within 10 working days. The interview process is a 30-minute conversation followed by a short, paid 60-minute teaching exercise — you will be paid for your time at the role rate, regardless of outcome.
All BridgeAI Ireland roles require a current legal right to work in Ireland. This includes Irish and UK citizens (under the Common Travel Area), citizens of EU/EEA member states and Switzerland, and non-EEA nationals who already hold an Irish immigration permission that allows them to take up this employment (for example, Stamp 1G or Stamp 4). BridgeAI Ireland is not in a position to sponsor employment permits or visa applications for this role, and an application does not create any entitlement to sponsorship.
Please confirm in your application that you hold a current right to work in Ireland. We will ask for documentary evidence before any interview or offer stage, as we are required to verify eligibility under the Employment Permits Acts 2003 to 2024. This requirement is applied equally to every applicant and operates alongside — not instead of — our equal opportunities commitments below.
BridgeAI Ireland is an equal opportunities employer. We comply with the Employment Equality Acts 1998–2015 and assess applications on skill, learning posture, and fit with the role — not on gender, civil status, family status, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability, race, or membership of the Traveller community.
Our mission is to bridge young Irish talent into well-paid software and AI careers. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who have taken non-traditional routes into tech: Further Education / PLC, apprenticeships, Institutes of Technology and Technological Universities, conversion programmes, returners-to-work, mature students, candidates from outside Dublin, and self-taught practitioners.
If you require any reasonable accommodation during the application or interview process, please email hello@bridgeaiireland.ie and we will respond confidentially.
Applications and supporting documents are held by BridgeAI Ireland Limited (Company No. 817591) and used solely to assess your suitability for this role (legal basis: legitimate interests, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). They are seen only by the BridgeAI hiring panel; we do not use automated decision-making in recruitment. Data is kept for 12 months after the role closes, then deleted.
